Hi! My name is Abe, and I am Art & Hammer Design. There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about me. I hope you enjoy and take a moment to drop us a line.

As I grew older, I remember waiting for Sunday, waiting for the rest of my family to read through the newspaper so I could read the comics and re-draw my favorites.
My family had an encyclopedia set where I first laid eyes on the work of MC Escher. I would sit for hours falling into his wonderful world of morphing animals, impossible shapes and never-ending waterfalls.
Waiting for Saturday morning, not just for the cartoons, but more to learn from one of my favorite teachers, Bob Ross and his calming voice. It was though his instruction that I first desired to pick up a paint brush.

I create with reclaimed materials as often as possible because I believe in second chances. It is best to journey well through this beautiful world by taking care of it along the way. The majority of my art comes ready to hang with homemade frames. I enjoy woodworking as a secondary method of creating art.
I look for opportunities to incorporate glimmers of hope, flashes of light, the dawning of a new day, the light at the end of the tunnel because a journey without hope is a dark and fearsome path.
